BOLD BROWS (FOR REDHEADS)

OH.

So cool to be back in my hometown (Rome) so I no longer have to see Cara Delevigne everywhere!

OMG she’s supercool it’s true !

but the average of models are cool as well (or even better . Why the hell is England so obsessed with SHE ?

Unfortunately (ghgh ) I must admit i’m a sucker ! ’cause even if i’m not obsessed with Cara i’m so stuck with her BOLD EYEBROWS and I’ve always been!

Look at this amazing girl! I love everything about Bambi Northwood-Blyth! brow included!

As my hair it’s copper and sometimes I dye my brow a bit lighter than my natural color ( dark chestnut ) I’ve been looking around for the perfect product for a long time without any great results.

I was kinda giving up and decided to keep using a normal blond eyebrow pencil… but then I went into my local M.A.C shop ( I can’t keep myself from having a look everytime I see one ) and figured out they fuck**g nailed it!

Yes they just produced a REDHEAD EYEBROW PENCIL

I’m calling all my redheaded mates, true and fake !Auburn, copper and ginger!

Only you can understand the importance of having a proper eyebrow make up product!

Veluxe Brow Liner it’s made of powder and it’s the perfect product if you don’t want to use a lot of things for your eyebrow but still look gorgeous and bold!

Contouring Mania

WHAT’S BETTER THAN HAVING A PERFECT BONE STRUCTURE?

I say nothing! but unfortunately only a few of us have it.

But we’re lucky ’cause they invented make up and we don’t always need a facial surgery to look better!

Contouring has always been used my make up artist but what I’ve recently noticed it’s that everybody’s talking about it, and a lot of make up brands are making this job easier to everyone!

This is the chart to follow when you do your contouring but make sure you’ve blended your make up very well before you go and have a walk like this!

As you can see in the image it’s all about creating shades and illuminating the right points!

what you need now it’s the right products and a contouring brush!

I have recently bought this amazing MAC 168 LARGE CONTOUR BRUSH (which i love!)

Let’s talk about the products :

You always have to choose a BROWN powder with COLD TONES and it DOESN’T have to be shimmering at all,

I’d rather not to go with too much shimmering on the illuminator as well cause I always want to pretend i’m a star that shine of my own light ! (ahaha)

I’ve already been talking about this product but maybe i’ve been also telling you I don’t really like the shimmering highlighter that much (but the brown powder it’s cool! that’s why I use it and mention it)

Than here we are! this is my biggest dream since I knew it exists!

This product it’s in a creamy texture and it’s TRANSPARENT. that’s why I love it sooo much and I PROMISE I’ll fine the money to buy it !

Make Up For Dummies: Chapter #1: Foundation!

As I walked in my local Boots today, walking in the make up area I heard two Italian girls asking each other questions about what should they buy.

Ok we all do this with our best friend, but the questions was like :”WHAT IT’S THIS?” “HOW DO I USE IT?” while staring at a box of foundation.

!!SHE NEEDS HELP and every girls with this kind of questions need some serious help!

soo as I walked home (with some new stuff, we’re talking about this later) I thought it might be useful to write some little tips for make up beginners.

Let’s start from your

FACE:

1 – MOISTURIZE IT:

First of all your skin should be well moisturized before starting your new quick beauty routine.

Choose a good moisturizer according to your skin type, use it on clean skin and let it dry before skipping to the next step.

2 – FOUNDATION

For each product you use on your face it’s not much about “WHAT” but it’s way more about “HOW”.

– GO FOR THE RIGHT AND EASIEST TEXTURES

If your skin looks dry choose a liquid or creamy product.

If yours it’s a combination or oily type chose a mineral powder or a light oil free liquid.

2) CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR

This it’s the best gift you can do to your face, the shade of your foundation needs to be the same of your skin, you don’t use foundation to give a better color but just to even your skin tone and make it look amazing.

There will be someone who surely gonna help you in any shop, but if there’s not, do it by applying the product on your jawline, if the product seems to disappear after blending it..that is your colour!

3) APPLY IT

Cream and liquid:

Pour a little amount of foundation on the back of your hand and apply it with a sponge or with your hands starting from the centre of your face (there is when your skin needs more coverage) and blend it all over, make sure your skin tone it’s even before going on.

Mineral Powder:

Tap a little amount of powder into the lid, then swirl the brush around to get all the product in the bristles, apply it on your face using a circular motion (always start from the centre) continue until you reach the right coverage.
